Categories?

How do you create categories and how can you use them with this plugin? Do you create the categories in the posts categories section? If so, do you just simply create a post with the show category snippet short code in order to show the appropriate category reviews? I’m having trouble getting this to work the way I want. I’m wanting to use it to give store reviews. I have a site that has like 14 different stores and we want to be able to provide a ratings and review section on the page. For example, here is the page itself: http://fallriverpawnbrokers.com/locations/
I’d like to show the star ratings short code below each store and then maybe have a link beside it that says Rate this Store, which would take users to the respective review page where they can write a review and rate the store (since this plugin lets you do both). Then maybe I’d have a link to Read Reviews beside that previous link or something. Really, I just need to be able to allow people to see the rating in stars on the Locations page and then leave a review; maybe I can do this another way?
