onirgoc, i am not very clear about your question. What is forms? Is it a post type or you are just creating simple forms by using it some plugin?
yes forms is a post type.
So can you tell me what you have filled it in the “plugin settings page” for forms post type. There is a option to define a different structure permalink for every post type.
Please specify what you have really filled it out there or is it empty?
Empty because:
by example for News I would like not to have:
http://www.mywebsite.com/news/newsoftheday.php
but:
http://www.mywebsite.com/newsoftheday.php
and in your setting i don(t know how to because if I put nothing here:
News http://www.mywebsite.com/ empty field
I will have http://www.mywebsite.com/news/newsoftheday.php

To make the news url like this: http://www.mywebsite.com/news/newsoftheday.php
use: “news/%postname%” in the news field.
To make the news url like this: http://www.mywebsite.com/newsoftheday.php
use: “%postname%” in the news field.
After setting the fields. Create any news post and check the permalink. Hopefully you got result as you wanted it.

onirgoc, Yes my plugin is disappeared due to having issues with custom permalink. I am trying to make the plugin available.

Hello,
I am in a process to finish the e-commerce part of my site so don’t have unfortunatly much time for advanced test but it look like I steel have problems with permalink but don’t know where is the problem : your plugin ? Ultimate member manager ? Adavnced access manager ? As I found a workaround I can’t tell yet. Workaround ? disable the 3 plugin, change the categorie and re-enable plugins. This said I am alos satying with UMM 1.3.36 because upgrading is worst.
