    Hi
    Im having this error when activate jetpack
    – Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Post could not be converted to string
    – Warning: preg_match() expects parameter 2 to be string, object given

    in some pages and post
    what to do ? thanks

    Thanks for the report.

    I can’t seem to be able to reproduce right now. Could you try to deactivate each one of your plugins, one at a time, and let me know if you can narrow things down to a specific plugin conflicting with Jetpack?
    If that doesn’t help, could you try to switch to one of the default themes for a few minutes, and let me know if it helps?

    All plugins deactivated site works
    Activate jetpack only and I got the error
    switch the template and everything works

    I just reinstalled wordpress 4.2.4

    It seems the issue is caused by a conflict between Jetpack an your theme, Amphawa. Since that’s a Premium theme, I’m afraid I won’t be able to install it on a test site of mine to run some tests.

    However, looking at the file mentioned in the errors, I think the problem might be caused by a function filtering the_content in your theme, and returning an object instead of a string. Could you contact the theme author and ask them to take a look at the different functions that filter the_content in their theme.

    I contacted them but they haven’t answer yet! really bad support from them

    I just added this plugin jp-disable-og.php and it worked!

    That would help in this particular case, but you’re most likely to run into the problem again later on, with other plugins, until the original issue is fixed in your theme. Hopefully you’ll get a reply soon!
