• After I updated to wordpress 3.8 and updated to jetpack 2.7 I could not create new pages and when I view my current pages this is the error message I get when jetpack is activated.

Warning: preg_match() expects parameter 2 to be string, object given in /home/content/60/8100560/html/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 199

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Post could not be converted to string in /home/content/60/8100560/html/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 217

I currently have the following plugins installed and activated…
    Captcha
    Categories to Tags Converter Importer
    Pinterest “Pin It” Button Lite
    Regenerate Thumbnails
    Wufoo Shortcode Plugin

The page template is set to default.

Currently jetpack is deactivated on my site.

Could you try to install this small plugin, and let me know if it helps?

I installed and it is working as it should be! I made changes added a new page, changed widgets and it is good!

Thank you! Is this a permanent fix or should I look for an update?

We’ve worked on a fix and it will be included in the next Jetpack update. You should then be able to deactivate this small plugin.
