  • Resolved vannon

    Hello all, this is my first word press test site and I’m using the Catch Box Theme. I would like to know where to edit to reduce the space between posts or widget items and even around the header graphic.

    Here is the site.

  • To reduce the space between each article go to line 741 of your style.css and edit the margin.

    So for exmaple

    #content .error404 {
        background-color: #fff;
        border-bottom: 2px solid #ccc;
        -moz-border-radius: 5px;
    	border-radius: 5px;
        margin: 0 0 1em;
        padding: 0.5em 5% 2em;
        position: relative;
    	width: auto;

    Change 0 0 2em to 0 0 1em to make it smaller.

    Repeat the same step for line 1926 (widgets).

    To change the margin between the header graphic go to line 78 and edit both the margin and the padding.

    Make sure you backup your code before you make any changes.

    Thank you – worked great. If you click on the link above, you will see the result.

    On another note, I’d like to change the black menu background to another color, but I’ll post another thread for it.
