Catablog not importing all items from CSV

    Hi Macguru2000,

    I’m resuming a conversation from my previous thread as that was marked as solved.

    At first I thought it worked (as at work uploading a single item without commas seemed to work, however it is actually not the case when uploading the csv from home.

    I’ve now removed all ‘,’ and ‘`’ from .csv but unfortunately a number of items are still not uploaded.
    Out of the 12 items below only 5 are uploaded.
    The first one partigiano_0001 is a good example as it doesn’t upload, neither on his own nor with the rest of the items.

    @luckyluca, at first glance it seems that your description would work because it is quoted, but I’m also curious if removing the commas or the smart apostrophe would fix your problem? This doesn’t seem to be a specific issue in CataBlog, maybe the PHP CSV parser…

    This is now resolved.
    It turns out there was a non-ascii character which looked just like the minus symbol – that was confusing csv and ignoring entries which contained it.
