  • I’m receiving the same issue, so I went to look in the Knews folder for an error_log. I saw an error_log in the folder /knews/direct/ with:

PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘wp-content/plugins/knews/wp-settings.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /wp-content/plugins/knews/wp-config.php on line 90

Figured out the issue. Delete the wp-config in the knews folder and the tracking pixel works.

    Hi Webgirl!
Thanks for your great support! Tracking pixel works now.

    Bye,
    Matteo.

    Hello
I had the same problem and I solved in the same suggested way.
The author should fix this for the next release.

    Bye

    Hi,
A small follow-up just in case people are still struggling with tracking pixel:
Tracking pixel won’t work if you put wp-config outside the root directory (into the root’s parent directory).
That’s unfortunate because this the safest place.
I hope the developer may address this issue in a future update.
