My site, myrmidon.co, has a link to a casino up in the left hand header (I think), and I can’t get rid of it. It shows up on Firefox, and iOS on my iPad, but not in Safari on my MacBook. I have tried to figure it out from other forum posts, to no avail. I am running the Responsive theme.
OK, specifics: http://www.games-casino.us is in the very top left corner of my screen. I tried going through the editors to track down the code. I can’t find it anywhere. I have deleted unused widgets, plugins, everything, and installed new theme and updated everything on the site.
I don’t think I ever asked anyone to do the work for me… If I recall, you were the one who suggested that: “hire someone.”
We cannot determine where the link has been injected just by examining the site. That’s why you have to work through all of those links to ensure that you have checked and cleaned every part of your site. There’s no magic bullet or easy way around this, I’m afraid.
