# Case-sensitive?

 * Is there a way to make these free-text entry fields so that they’re not case-
   sensitive? We’ve got students being marked for wrong answers, because they didn’t
   capitalize the right way.
 * Understandably there are times when using the right case is important, but this
   isn’t one of them.

 * The answer for Short Answer question type (free0text entry field) is actually
   case insensitive. For example, here [https://www.screencast.com/t/nOoFjtcL](https://www.screencast.com/t/nOoFjtcL)
   the answer will be correct if you enter “anything”, “Anything”, “ANYTHING”, etc.
