Will this plugin still be able to track my conversions and communicate the sale total to Google Ads if I use CartFlows checkout page instead?

Currently I am using the CartFlows plugin on my website. This allows me to easily customize the checkout and thank you page customers navigate through. CartFlows replaces the default checkout page when utilized this way. I’m unsure if this is a purely cosmetic change, or if the backend processes/paths change and would impact they way your plugin functions.

    Hi @profitnexus

I don’t know CartFlows and what exactly it changes to the checkout flow.

    1. The most important part of the tracking is done on the purchase confirmation page. This is a standard WooCommerce page that contains hooks we use for conversion tracking. Usually all plugins that change the checkout flow do still use that standard purchase confirmation page. So probably it works just fine.

Best is you install CartFlows and test with an order. When you place an order you will reach the purchase confirmation page. With Google Tag Assistant you will be able to confirm if the conversion tracking is being inserted: https://docs.woopt.com/wgact/#/google-tag-assistant

You will need to disable order deduplication in the advanced settings before running the test.

    2. If CartFlows also changes the cart page then it might break the output for dynamic remarketing. Again, we use the standard WooCommerce hooks. If CartFlows doesn’t follow the WC standard, we can’t do much about it.

Thanks @alekv for the quick response, I appreciate your help. I can confirm your plugin is compatible with CartFlows.

An order came through and I can see it registered the conversion/communicated the order value properly in my Google Ads shopping campaign. There was another order placed shortly after that did not come from Google Ads. It was rightfully skipped over and not registered as a conversion in Google Ads. Looks like everything is working perfectly, awesome plugin!
