Hi florbv! Can you give us a link to your site? We’ve seen this kind of behavior, and it never has anything to do with the menu cart plugin. It’s usually a session issue with woocommerce or a caching issue. Either way, I’d like to confirm that’s the case just to make sure. 🙂

It is indeed either an issue with WooCommerce or with your site’s caching. You can tell because if you visit your shopping cart the number of items on the cart page matches the number of items in the menu cart plugin. The plugin pulls it’s data from WooCommerce, it doesn’t actually affect the number of items in the cart. I created a couple of accounts to test and it looks to me like the items in the cart aren’t resetting when you switch users. Although, perhaps it ignores the user and uses cookies instead? It would be worth asking WooCommerce how this works.

So you mean I should contact woocommerce for this issue? How about if it is because of my site’s caching? What could I possibly do? So I would try it first before contacting woocommerce. Thank you so much.
Hi florbv. I just realized that I forgot to respond to this! I would contact WooCommerce. I did a search and couldn’t find why that could be happening. If it’s a plugin issue they’ll be able to let you know. If it’s a site caching issue, they’d know that too.
