Cart Free Shipping Still Applied when item with no free shipping is added

    The Free Shipping works when the product is added to the cart but when we add a product that doesn’t have free shipping we’d expect the cart to then revert back to the standard shipping rate but free shipping is still applied.

    We have free shipping enabled using classes, if I add a product that have the free shipping class to the cart this is fine and free shipping option is active. When I add a product that doesn’t have a free shipping class the cart still enables free shipping.

    I hope this could be sorted, the plugin is great otherwise.

    Hi Adam,

    I assume you use the ‘contains shipping class’ condition.? this condition indeed allows for other product (classes) to the in the cart at the same time. If you don’t want the rate to show when a different/paid shipping class is in the cart you can add a additional condition such as:
    – contains shipping class – not equal – paid

    This will prevent the shipping rate from showing up when a paid shipping class product is in the cart.

    Hi Jeroen,

    That works nicely thank you, I think the main issue we are having is that the product we want to have free shipping is a bundle we are using the free version of https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-product-bundles/. Is it possible to make this work with this plugin?

    Hi Adam,

    I’ve never tested that plugin so I’m not sure how thats going to work / is working.

    At this moment there has been no other interest in making that plugin compatible, so it won’t be build in this plugin. Depending on your requirements you may be able to hire a developer to get it working according to your needs, but I honestly can’t guarantee that either as I’m simply unaware of the capabilities between the two plugins.
