Cart and checkout Block, obstructs EU VAT compliance

Within EU we charge VAT by location. Place delivered. I use EU VAT Compliance function for this, based on its VAT per country tables.

Doing so is required by law and all EU member states has entered this policy.

Mini cart, Cart and checkout obstructs EU VAT Compliance from doing it’s thing. Please wotk with David to sort this. 25% is a huge discount on everything or massive overpricing. So fixing is absolutely critical.

Side question regarding woo. I enter prices inclusive of VAT, but I will probably change this to exclusive. Will woo auto update/subtract prices, or will I need to update each and everyone?

Woo install – Woo VAT is installed since I am EU

EU introduced VAT by Location. Austria x VAT, Denmark y VAT, NL z VAT. Davids EU VAT Compliance provides that.

Until Woo blocks Cart, MiniCart, Checkout was installed. Changing shipping country does nothing to the VAT

a) EU Vat per country. Shop Base Denmark

b) Outside EU – VAT 0%

Example:

Aus 21% – Should be 0%

Den 21% – Should be 25%

Hun 21% – Should be 27%

You are welcome to add from here and change country at checkout

Hey @hebhansen,

the EU VAT Number extension has support for the Checkout block. Using it will enable the field to collect the VAT Number on the block-based checkout page. It does not support the Mini Cart Block though.
