[Resolved] Cart always empty if I update or checkout

    You posted on an old marked as resolved thread, please don’t do that, it is far better to open your own thread as you have now done.

    Your issue will be to do with php sessions not saving, please contact your web hosts.

    Unless you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations as the original poster, do not post in someone else’s thread. Start your own topic.

    The thread was clearly not resolved, as the poster had indicated.

    As I also stated on that thread this is not a PHP sessions issue. I have repeatedly checked the sessions cookies and many sites on the same virtual machine are able to cope perfectly fine with sessions. This is an issue with the plugin picking up the session information, not the server.

    @esmi I understand that perfectly, thanks for spoon feeding it to me. I am a WordPress dev and spend a significant portion of my day providing support for plugins myself.

    My troubleshooting clearly indicates to me a plugin related issue.

    That has nothing to do with your issue. It wasn’t your topic.

    Then you should be familiar with the rules on these forums.

    No – it’s a sessions issue on the server. I assume you did read the relevant page in the plugin’s documentation? http://quirm.net/wiki/eshop/troubleshooting/checkout-and-empty-carts/

    Right now you are the only one having this problem out of half a million downloads. So – in your experienced opinion – would this indicate an issue with the plugin or an issue with your install specifically?

    Your issue will be to do with php sessions not saving, please contact your web hosts.

    If your your web hosts say that sessions are working as intended, then please post a link to the relevant site so that I can have a look at it. BUT I will be unlikely to be able to help you.
