Cars-For-Sale page not working et al

    First of all I’d like to say this really is a great plugin, BUT having the same issues as others – here’s my questions/points

    A)I have wiped wordpress clean and created a brand new site. Fresh Install and downloaded latest modules.
    Installed the 2010 and 2011 themes amongst others. Is there a recommended theme?

    B)When installing some themes (2011 & 2010) the Vehicle Detail Sidebar appears in the area but does not display in the theme itself, you have to drop the car widgets into the themes own Sidebar areas.

    C)The Cars-for-sale page does not work when using the ‘use CarDemon theme files’ set to YES – nothing shows up or page is not found – although if I switch ‘use theme files’ to ‘NO’ the cars DO display but without any images. I have double checked all the obvious things about prices,permalinks,and settings to make it appear but still cannot make them show.
    The way around this I can see is that I can use a blank search and add it as a linked menu item using:
    http://www.xxxxxxx.co.uk/?s=cars&car=1&search_year=&search_make=&search_model=&search_dropdown_body=&submit_search=Search

    D) There is a foremention I’m sure I read that the search now has currency added, but when I install the search widget you cannot search by price -the fields do not display to do that? On the demo site your search has numerous options but I only get make,model,stock,body type options.

    Thanks for the kind words. I’m sorry you ran into a couple bumps, I’d be more than happy to help. When I released version 1.1.4 I fat fingered a couple lines preparing them for translation. That’s causing the vehicle template pages to not load.

    I have version 1.1.5 done, I’m just giving it a final run through. It also has additional support for changing the ribbons/banners on the main vehicle photos. It also has updated translations and a few other tweaks like putting the currency symbol into the search fields for price.

    I was planning on uploading it on Monday, but it may go up sooner because it also has additional support for style changes.

    I have a secondary PlugIn that’s being beta tested, it has 6 other styles for the vehicle pages and the search results/archive pages.

    It has a style in it for the Suffusion theme,Twenty 11 and four generic styles. I’ll be adding support for PageLines, the CyberChimp themes and some of the more popular themes from WooThemes in the near future.

    The vehicle search widget has a drop down in the admin area that lets you pick one of three styles, one of them is called Full, that sets up a form like the one in our demos. In the near future ill add a short code to create an advanced search form on a page. I’ll make it customizable so you can select the fields you want to search by, set the CSS for them and then drop a widget for it or use a short code.

    I’ll get 1.1.5 five up as quick as I can, let me know if you want to test out some of the beta styles, Themes and Plugins.
