  • I had to disable (and then delete) this plugin, as it moved JQuery to the footer, so plugins which relied on the Jquery library to be present would not function any more!

    Moving scripts to the footer is exactly what this plugin does, including jquery. Did you read the description before installing it? What did you think would happen – the title is fairly straight-forward in the action.

    In the future, if you are looking for a different result than the plugin’s stated action, please reach out on the support forum before blasting the plugin with a low review.

    webbeetle, the newest version allows you to keep jQuery in the head via a settings option (Settings > Scripts to Footer, “Keep jQuery in the head”). Check it out. If that works for you, would appreciate considering revising your review.

    I have installed in the meantime WP-Rocket and that helps enough with speed.
