    Obviously it could be something I am missing in my setup/server. It could be an error on my part…
    but as yet on my test server I have yet to get any satisfactory results while testing this plugin out.
    I have set the site up on a wide open server to ask folks to try it out and fix it…but so far no takers…
    the login in yfwp3 as is the password…
    so anyone wanting to help is fine by me.
    The server runs on Debian 7.7 and has most of the add-ons I would think would be needed, but perhaps I am merely missing a library somewhere?

    It doesn’t look like this is a Car Demon issue.

    Pretty permalinks don’t appear to be working on your site at all.

    For example, the generic WordPress sample page doesn’t load;
    http://yfwp3.yourfreewordpress.com/sample-page

    Once you resolve the pretty permalinks issue Car Demon should work fine.

    If I had to guess I would say it’s a problem with your .htaccess file.

    Hope this helps,

    Jay you are absolutely correct! Took a bit of reading, but pretty permalinks don’t work unless mod_rewrite module is loaded in Apache. Just had to enable this module. Issue solved.

    Please help me: I am looking for a plugin just like this that works in the UK. I can get an xml feed from a DVLA source. This plugin only has a VIN lookup. Is there a way to connect it to an XML feed so I can add a car just from typing in the registration plate. (same as VIN)

    Thanks in advance

    John
