Support » Plugin: Slider by Soliloquy - Responsive Image Slider for WordPress » Captions Won’t Save (And other saving issues)

I downloaded Soliloquy to demo it so I can make an informed decision to purchase it for a client. I am on WordPress 5.0.3. Unfortunately when I add or update images and give them captions it does not save after pressing “Save Metadata” and Publishing or Updating a slider.

I began noticing trouble with Soliloquy once I started using it as it would not show photos added until after I left the Soliloquy editor and went back. I tried that with the captions but it does not solve the issue either.

I think this would be the perfect solution for my client if we can get this working!

    Hi @rpdweb 🙂

I’m very sorry for the trouble, if the metadata isn’t saving, it sounds like it could be a conflict of some sort.

Have you already tried deactivating the theme and the other plugins to check for a conflict?

You’re always welcome to open up a ticket with our support and just mention this is for Lite.

By the way, I have experienced that on every slide you need to hit Save Metadata, and not just once for the whole slider. This was not intuitive to me, and I learned the hard way. @rpdweb you might want to check whether your problem is the same.
