# Captions stopped working

 * My client is furious so I’m hoping someone can help me! Suddenly the captions
   no longer work on the site. I’ve tried downgrading to a previous version of the
   plugin but that did not bring them back. I made sure the captions are still entered
   on the images, but the HTML output looks like this:

 * I should also note a new console error message I’m seeing in case this helps:
   `/
   portfolio-slideshow/src/img/ajax-loader.gif Failed to load resource: the server
   responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)`

 * did you figure this out? my captions are also not working, and client isn’t happy.
   please let me know what you resolved! i need a basic portfolio wth thumbnail 
   nav & captions below the main images.
