Support » Plugin: NextGEN Gallery - WordPress Gallery Plugin » captions on slideshow

  • I’ve been using this plugin since the day I started my wordpress blog several years ago. I love it. However, I use primarily the default slideshow and never thought about the ubiquitous captions that cover the bottom of the pictures. Just assumed I had to have them. If I leave title and description blank, it insists on showing the filename along with the full-screen option and number of the image within the stream (i.e. x/10 if there were 10 images in the gallery)

It’s now become a problem and I’m finally looking to see if there’s a way to zap those captions. So far, I’ve seen nothing that addresses this problem. I went to the site and the default slideshow example has no captions. Can anyone advise how you get rid of those things? Can it be done on a slideshow by slideshow basis?
    Thanksfor the help.
