Hi @shihtzurescue , I’m not seeing captions at all currently. Could you possibly share a screenshot? Or, if you’ve changed things to disable captions, can you re-enable them so we can see what you’re referring to?
@supernovia my understanding is that captions show up when hovering over the photos in all styles, except circles. We see the exact same caption for each photo and it does not match what we set for each individual photo.
Thanks @shihtzurescue — these tooltips don’t look like what we’ve seen before in Jetpack. And the tiled gallery block does not currently have a captions option.
Could you check to see whether this is coming from and SEO plugin, or one of the other plugins on your site?
Particularly if this just started recently, you’ll want to check anything that was recently updated or changed.
@supernovia this is a new gallery as we decided against using the former plugin. The information about the captions came from here: https://jetpack.com/support/tiled-galleries/
So there are no captions then?
Those are instructions for the classic editor.
The Gallery Block does not currently have captions, but our designers and developers are working on that here:
