 * I just made 27 sliders with over hundred pictures with captions and now the latest
   2.5 update does NOT work allowing me to edit my captions! OMG! Not only does 
   the edit pencil not work, but when I get into bulk edit all of my captions are
   missing! WOW, I am blown away and so are my captions, yet they still appear when
   rendering the slider!

   don’t have access to your admin area to check out whats going on.

 * **Yes indeed I am…** Biggest problem is that my existing captions are NOT loading
   their values allowing me to edit the caption. I guess I could go under the covers
   with Database Broswer plug-in, but…Everything is blank: No caption or ALT tag(
   attribute).

 * It looks like your custom CSS in your themee is hiding the captions if you disable
   it they appear correctly ad the default styling caption we have.

 * You bring up a very good point except I’m not having any problem seeing the captions
   outside of the admin. I did use a number of hacks (Google) in Custom CSS to custom-
   tailor to my clients needs. One of them to put the caption outside of the container(
   below) and make the background line invisible (navbar) and hide the captions 
   on phone mobile view and slider on page. I did remove the Custom CSS and it made
   no difference whatsoever.
 * There is nothing in my EDITOR when I edit the slider for every single slide the
   caption and ALT tags are missing, but still being shown on the page itself. So
   it’s in the Editor that the information is not getting populated in.

 * I’m having the same issue. The captions that were added before show, but I can’t
   edit them on the backend. Clicking the green pencil icon square does nothing.

 * Some more info. Uploading a new image will allow the Caption to be added, but
   then the new image won’t appear in the slider.

 * It’s PHP Native (5.4), but I can select 5.4, 5.5, or 5.6 from the CPanel under
   PHP Selector, but it also says:
    Warning: Changing php modules and php options
   via PHP Selector for native php version is impossible HTH

    IDK if this 
   helps, but I did an SQL dump and found the captions to reside in the following
   sections of the WP DB.
