Caption Shortcode Problem – And Paragraph tags added to posts

    Hello,
    I recently put together a post with images, using the automatic image insert. All but one seemed to work. The other, the caption shortcode shows, and for some reason is not parsed. I don’t understand this, as all the images were added to the post the same way. I also tried deleting them all, and then putting them in, with no luck.     I’ve also been experiencing another problem when posting. When I click “Save Draft” or “Publish”, there are empty Paragraph tags inserted at the beginning, and at places throughout (Generally in between paragraphs), the post. If I delete them in the HTML editor, they still reappear when I click “Save Draft” or Publish.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    i have seen this before in another thread and in my local installation, even in the default theme – inserting three images with caption end-to-end without a single space inbetween seems to ‘break’ the rendering of the middle caption.

    try to edit the post in the editor in html setting and add a single space between the captions.

    Thanks guys! Throwing a   in between the captions seemed to fix that up! I had tried searching the forums before, but couldn’t dig anything up. Thanks for the help! I will have to try deactivating all the plugins, and changing to the default theme, to see what is causing the Paragraph tag problem.
