The caption just does not belong into the lightbox. The caption is the text below or next to the thumbnail image which should call the user to click on the thumbnail. Inside the lightbox the user expects a detailed version of the caption which should be the image description.
I mean I miss the title in the lightbox. In the fancy gallery plugin, I could type in some title in the wordpress mediamanager. Then embed the images as wordpress gallery and read the title in the lightbox. Now I don’t see a title anymore…

The image title should appear in the lightbox if you embed images via the [gallery] shortcode. Otherwise the link title attribute / image title attribute is used as image title inside the lightbox.
Here are my example urls:
http://www.dd4kids.de/burg-stolpen-die-kinderfreundliche/ (fancy gallery)
http://beta.dd4kids.de/burg-stolpen-die-kinderfreundliche/ (gallery manager lite)
In both cases, everything is the same, but the gallery plugins. Digging deeper, I can see that in the html source code of the (new) gallery are no title tags included, only alt tags.
In the html source code generated by fancy gallery, title and alt tag are filled with the same content.
Looking at the media gallery, I can see, that title and alt field are filled different and it looks to me, that fancy gallery magically used the title entry to fill the title and the alt tags.
So I think I found the reason, why I do not have text in the lightbox: there are no title-tags included in html code.
What can we do about it? I found a code to add title tags, but it does not work with [gallery] (all thumbnails look the same)

Could you please open a support ticket on our website so I can take an eye on this issue? Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this problem with the latest version of WordPress + Gallery Manager Lite + Twenty Sixteen. (Additionally I cannot see the described issue on the URLs you provided.)
Sorry, I can’t get access to the support area http://dennishoppe.de/support since I did not buy the pro plugin and don’t have an password/username.
It is interesting though, that you can see the image titles in the gallery of http://beta.dd4kids.de/burg-stolpen-die-kinderfreundliche/
I tested it with firefox, chrome and IE.

Of course the support section is available for purchasers only. I cannot reproduce this problem with WordPress 4.4.2, Gallery Manager Lite 1.6.5 and Twenty Sixteen 1.1.
My testsite was already on WordPress 4.4.2, Gallery Manager Lite 1.6.5 and now I switched to Twenty Sixteen 1.1
I still can’t see a title in the lightbox and can’t the title tag in the html source code. (screenshot: http://fs5.directupload.net/images/160408/zmr4zame.jpg)
Thank you for your support, even for the free version of your plugin! I give up now.
