Hey all – I am having trouble with captioning images affecting image placement. I am using the caption text location to source the image. Without the caption, the image is centered and looking great, once I add the caption the image becomes justified to the left while the caption stays centered. I’ve tried to trouble shoot this and haven’t found any options that work for me yet.

Some extra info, I am using the HEAP theme from pixel grade and running WordPress 3.9.2. Thanks in advance for the help.

Do you have a URL you can share? Will be easier to troubleshoot if we can see the markup.

It’s my company’s blog that hasn’t gone live… I can’t share the url until I have the green light. Sorry, the best I can do it copy the code over…

    <div id="attachment_133" style="width: 638px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="http://blog.gouldevans.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/stairs_image3.jpg"><img class="wp-image-133 size-full" src="http://blog.gouldevans.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/stairs_image3.jpg" alt="" width="628" height="419"></a><p class="wp-caption-text">SF Chronicle</p></div>

What about the CSS for this class .wp-caption aligncenter and this class .wp-caption-text

That is probably where you should be looking. But again, I can only guess since I can’t see what is happening.
