# Captcha Tutorial

 * OK, I’ve looked through the support forum before posting this and didn’t see 
   anything addressing my specific question – but if there is I apologize for missing
   it.
 * That said — I can’t find a tutorial to install a captcha tool that is written
   in plain enough English for me to successfully install it. I even tried SecureImage,
   which looked simple enough, but a note said my ‘convert’ needs to be in my usr/
   bin/ and that totally lost me.
 * Is there anyone here willing to assist me in getting a captcha tool installed?

 * I do not want to dissaude you from using captcha if that really is what you want,
   but against spammers it is of very little use. It also does not protect you against
   the spammers hammering the server to try and get something posted.
 * I would recommend you look at installing these two:

 * What the first misses, the second catches.

 * I’m currently using Bad Behavior, and do still get some spam. I don’t have a 
   particular need to use captcha, just want something that works.
 * I’ll look at Spam Karma and see what happens…
