# CAPTCHA Temporary Files

 * HI there,
 * Love this plugin.
 * I am having an issue with some of my sites. The wpcf7_captcha under wp-uploads
   generates thousands (69K in one case!) of temporary .php and .png files, but 
   they do not get cleaned, they stay there. On some of my sites, they do automatically
   clear but on others they do not.
 * I’ve checked the file/folder permissions on my sites that do not clear the temporary
   files against my sites that do clear the temporary files and they all look the
   same.
 * Any other ideas where I could look to solve this issue?

 * What version of Really Simple CAPTCHA do you use?

 * I don’t have really simple captcha as a separate plugin, I assumed it came bundled
   with CF7.
 * Does it need to be installed separately?

 * Contact Form 7 doesn’t bundle any WordPress plugin.
 * If you’re sure you haven’t installed Really Simple CAPTCHA yourself, first find
   out what plugin or theme is bundling it. It’s highly probable it is the cause
   of this issue.

 * Remember that good themes never bundle plugins.
