Hi guys, i need to replace my really simple captcha plugin and your plugin looks perfect, i need something that i can just globally install across all my websites and don’t need to make any setting changes, however i have just installed the plugin and on the login screen, where the captcha should appear, it says loading, the protected by bestwebsoft captcha, but there is no little sum for anyone to do, hope you can offer a solution?

    🙂

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us!

This Captcha version provides invisible captcha only. You can try to use Google Captcha (reCAPTCHA) instead – https://bestwebsoft.com/products/wordpress/plugins/google-captcha/.

Thank you, i’ve never heard of invisible captcha before, does this offer the same level of protection as when someone has to do a little sum? If so i’ll install your plugin on all my websites if you can say that it offers the same level of security?

    Thanks in advance… 🙂

    Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no captcha that could provide 100% spam protection. Real people can get through captcha.

We would like to say that our Invisible Captcha will protect your forms against spambots. Real people can still send spam, but the spambots – no.

once again, thank you for your reply, i understand nothing is 100%, but just wanted to know if there was a difference in the level of protection between a captcha where you have to do the little sum everytime or the invisible captcha where some kind of system detects foul play (i only on the initial wordpress login screen).

I’m no techy, but are assuming when you have to do the sum everytime, this would be better as it’s asking for the sum to be done every single time, so would have the best chance of stopping any bot, but the invisible captcha must run some kind of criteria to judge wether there may be foul play, thus display the captcha, hopefully my question is getting across?

So all i am asking is for the initial wordpress login screen, is the invisible captcha just as secure as one that asks for the sum every single time, i know this doesn’t stop all kinds of attacks and is not offering 100% security, but is the captcha that asks for the sum everytime technically more secure that the invisible captcha that does not?

Thank you for your time, i do appreciate the replies, i’m still learning all the time… 🙂

    Hi,

We apologize for taking so long in responding to your email.

Our Invisible Captcha just as secure as ordinary Captcha where you should do the math.

Our Invisible Captcha requires JS enabled. Bots do not use JS because JS runs in the browser. The plugin works in such a way that after certain actions of the user on the page with Captcha, the AJAX request is sent to receive the secret code and this code is inserted into the form. The code will be sent and inserted only if the AJAX request has been sent specifically from the page of this site. If the code is missing or the code is incorrect, or the code is expired, the check will not be performed.

Excellent, thank you for the response, i’ll spread the word how great the plugin is, marked as resolved… 🙂
