    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    It is necessary to deactivate plugin manually. Please complete the following steps:
    1) Go to the your_wp_root/wp-content/plugins folder via FTP (http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients);
    2) Find and rename “google-captcha” folder;
    3) After you log into your dashboard, you can rename the folder back.

    Please make sure you have correct “Site key” and “Secret key” entered on the plugin settings page. Get correct keys you can here – https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin#list. If you sure the keys are correct, provide a link to the login page (the plugin should be activated), and we’ll try to detect the problem.

    Sincerely,
    BestWebSoft Support Team

    I changed the name of the folder as per above. NOPE. Site won’t work at all then. Use PHP database and remove entries from “active plugins”. Then you can log in and activate your other plugins and take this one out. It caused me huge nightmare and was configured correctly. The reCaptcha just kept telling me that I had it wrong. Dozens of times. What the heck!!!!!!!!!

    Hi,

    If you renamed the correct plugin folder, WordPress core deactivates the plugin automatically. Most likely that you renamed a wrong folder. Please check this and let us know about results.

    Sincerely,
    BestWebSoft Support Team
