Captcha code not rendering

I’ve been having an issue where the Captcha box shows up in my webform, but not the actual code that a person would need to type in the text field.

If the page is refreshed, the code shows up. but I’m worried some people cannot complete without refreshing and just leave my site.

Any insight or help would be appreciated.
