Captcha and Mingle

    I have installed the Mingle forum and the Captcha plugin on the following site: http://144.92.93.155/gardenmap (site is under construction)

    I have left the registration required unchecked but have put a checkmark in the “Use Captcha for unregistered users. (I’m not sure what Requires GD library means and it is a broken link).

    Under the Captcha options I checked all of the boxes for enabling Captcha.

    When I access the site on Firefox (not logged in) – nothing shows up.

    When I access the site on IE (not logged in) – I get a red x.

    Obviously it isn’t finding Captcha somewhere.

    What do I need to do to fix this?

    check that your php.ini for ‘extension=php_gd2.dll’ and remove the ‘;’ in front.

    Sorry to post on something so old, but wanted to know which Captcha plugin did you use? And did you get it to work? I would very much like to implement a Captcha on any guest posts, and any advice would be welcome!
