# Captcha?

 * First of all, thank you for the great plugin. I have one question. Have I understood
   it correctly? Do I no longer need a spam captcha because it is automatically 
   integrated in the form? 🤔

 * Sorry for the slow reply. Yes, Happyforms comes with advanced anti-spam protection(
   more advanced than a honeypot, at the very least), and we’ve found it’s pretty
   effective against modern spam bots. That said, reCAPTCHA still provides great
   value _on top_ of it. I’d suggest to try and run your forms without reCAPTCHA
   for a while, and only switch reCAPTCHA back on if spam still manages to sneak
   in.
