    Hi, thanks for the help a while ago with my site. I have done a lot of work on it since then, and I was wondering if you could give me some ideas and criticisms regarding it. The address is captainpenguin.com. I customized the Copyblogger theme from Chris Pearson and really love it!

    I was also wondering what you think about the “thin” look. I’m still undecided as to what to do there. If you could give me your thoughts as to the width that would be great too.

    The thin look isn’t too bad. However, I think you might want to work more on your interface design skills. The layouts look a bit generic, and the colors are a bit out of the professional pallette. What I would do is go to other competing sites that have a more developed look and take some notes on the colors, logos, and layout schemes and learn from them. I think they will provide lots of ideas for you. 🙂

    Thanks for the input, echodust, those are good ideas! I think that looking at other sites definitely helps, so I will have to do that.
