When installing Wp Store Locator, a new role “Store Locator Manager” is created so you can link this role to users that you only want to have Store Locator capabilities.

I have a similar more focused need. I would like each store profile to be owned by that independent business owner, we approve their location and business profile (name, location, email, phone) and then they can add a few images, post reviews etc. This could be a big popup window or maybe a full profile page.
We only need space for maybe 4-6 images a certain size, maybe their logo in a logo spot.
