# Capability syntax

 * What syntax do you use to enable/disable users the ability to view links. I’m
   trying to disable subscribers from being able to view the Dashboard link, but
   I seem to be using the wrong syntax because anything I enter in removes the link
   for all roles.

 * Nevermind, figured out that I need to use specific capabilities of the various
   roles. edit_posts worked for me.
 * Resolved.
