 * Hi,
    I’ve been using wppb for some time now, in conjunction with “Restrict User
   Access”. It’s working fine for access to content, but now I try to give “Editor”
   rights to one user. I’ve tried to do this by creating a new role and also by
   using the built-in “Editor” role (without modifying the capabilities). When logging
   in as this user I do not see the header navigation bar although I have indicated
   it should be visible both for the role and for the user. When I try to login
   and then navigate directly to wp-admin I receieve an error not enough permissions.
 * I’m not sure how to go about tracking down the problem.
 * I can create a new user with admin role and that seems to function correctly,
   as do the other roles that I commonly use, but they are all read-only with access
   to different subsets of protected content.
 * Thank you for your help!
 * Violet

 * Hello [@violetta](https://wordpress.org/support/users/violetta/),
 * Are you sure that this plugin that you are using to apply the restriction works
   based on User Roles ? I’m seeing that it’s some kind of membership plugin.
 * Have you tried using: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/nav-menu-roles/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/nav-menu-roles/)?
 * Let me know.
 * Regards.
