@csarnagoc – When you checked the file permissions for the folder (and files) what did you find? Did those permissions accurately and correctly inherit the permissions from the /wp-content/
folder?
Thanks!
– Cais.
PS: You may need to involve your web hosting service’s support team to get this sorted out if it is a permissions issue.

The permissions of the folders are fine, but I can not get the images to come to me in the galleries.
I already put a support ticket to the hosting and they reviewed it for me.
I pass you how are the permissions:
Wp-content = 0755
Gallery = 0755
One gallery = 0755
Thumbs = 0755
Files = 0644
Thank you
regards
Cesar
Even if you put “gallery” to 0777, you still get the error.
Do you need any more data or do you have a specific test?

@csarnagoc – Are you able to upload images into the WordPress Media Library?
– Cais.
I can work in the following way:
I changed the permissions to 777.
I create the name of the geleria in “manage galleries”
Upload the images to wordpress from “media”
I’m going to “add image gallery”, Import from WordPress Media Library
I add the images uploaded with previously.
Give the error but the images are in the gallery.
Thank you

@csarnagoc – It’s good you have a work-around although it still reads there is a problem with your installation as you should not be getting those errors if everything is correctly in place…
– Cais.
try – chown apache:apache [the directory]
or whatever your OS designates as the server owner. Don’t increase the permissions beyond the 755 or whatever level security you are set for.
add a recursive -R if it has stuff from other uploads
