Canvas: Native Blank Page Template

    I am trying to start with a blank theme.
    I fiund these instructions:

    they say
    “To implement the Canvas template, go to the WordPress page dashboard, and in the page attribute box, under template, choose the Elementor Canvas template. Now edit the page with Elementor and you will see the full page inside the editor.”

    When I follow that I have no page attribute box menu option.

    Am I looking in the wrong place – I poked around for hours with no luck and followed the video also – but the menu I see is not the same as the video.

    Any suggestions? thanks
