 * Well I’ve looked and the couple of answers I’ve found are contradictory. And
I know this sounds like a convoluted question but I’m honestly confused.
 * If I want to be safe by using a child theme that bears all my own modifications
that I don’t want to lose if a main theme is updated, if I want to use Canvas
as a base with a Theme Forest-created child theme and I want to make some minor
tweaks to that Theme Forest-created child theme, does that mean I have to 1)first
buy and install Canvas and then 2)create and install my own Canvas child theme
and then 3)buy and install the third-party Theme Forest Canvas Child Theme and
then 4) finally create and install my own child theme of the Theme Forest child
theme to be publishing a WordPress site that’s safe from both Canvas and Theme
   Forest updates?
