    That is really weird:

In the last days the text box of my post / page editor has completely vanished when using Chrome. Only it appears if I’m using Firefox.

I’ve tried to change to another theme, like the one that comes in the default version of WordPress, but happens the same thing. Blanked text box. I’ve updated everything even reinstalled WordPress but nothing happened.

Someday has experimented something like this? What can I do?

Sorry. Now I’ve found that it’s true that the default theme works fine. Not the theme I’m using :(. My theme is Newsmax.

A recent update to Chrome 77 caused issues with certain plugins that add metaboxes. – You can use an alternative browser like Firefox to access the page, or you can install the Gutenberg plugin. It will replace the editor with the latest version of the editor. This will fix this particular problem that was created by Chrome 77 as well as giving you the latest changes to the editor. These same changes will make it into WordPress 5.3 in November.
