• Hi!

I am hoping for some help. I have been in contact with my hosting provider, but they say this is not an issue caused by them.

Whenever anyone tries to load my website on their iPad or iPhone, it starts to load for a few seconds and then the screen goes blank. I have a very active Facebook page (Bengal Cat World) in addition to my website, http://www.bengalcatworld.com and I get several people a day telling me they can’t view my site. I also can’t view it on my own phone and iPad.

It loads absolutely fine if using a desktop.

I can tell from my Google Analytics stats that not all mobile/tablet users are having this problem, so I am presuming it is limited to Apple products.

Any help would be gratefully received.

do you have any flash elements on your website?
    what plugins are active?
have you tried changing themes to test view on iphone/ipad?

    Hello

Thank you for your reply. I do have one flash element, but have had this for 2 years with no problems previously. If this is the cause, am happy to disable it.

I have tried other themes such as twenty twelve and the issue persists.

The plug ins I have are:
    Add This Social Bookmarking
    Askimet
    All in one SEO
    Ecwid (online store)
    Fast secure contact form
    Jetpack
Subscribe 2 (which doesn’t work properly any longer)
    UpDraft Plus
    SP Smush.It

All plugins are the latest versions, as is WordPress itself.

try disabling items like flash that might be interfering on iphone/ipad.

Thanks. I disabled the flash item but it made no difference.

Hi. My case gets a little stranger. I was out today and accessed the site via my iPhone at 2 different locations, with no problems at all. Yet when I get home, I can’t access it. I don’t think it’s anything to do with my equipment at home, though, as several people have told me they can’t access the site via their iPhones or iPads and they come from all over the place.

    Still not working 🙁

it looks like your theme was created by Artisteer v3.1.0.45075, but the current version is 4.3. There will have been a lot of bug fixes and improvements between the two, including fixes to work with the current version of WP. However, its not possible to say if one of those fixes is relevant. Updating can bring its own problems so take a backup first. If the problem persists, consider asking Artisteer support.

Thank you for your response, lorro. I don’t think the theme is the issue as I temporarily changed it to twenty twelve, but still had the same problems 🙁
