OK, any and all help appreciated with this. In answering, please bear in mind I’m a troglodyte of the highest order with no skills in the area of web design, programming etc.

I bought a domain name from JustHost. This is http://www.jamieandrew-withhands.com

I downloaded WordPress through JustHost, and got into the dashboard. Tinkered with some pages, added some graphics etc., added a few posts. I can edit fine, I can view my website through the dashboard. But when I, or friends I’ve asked to help me, type the above url/domain into my web brower, it just directs me to a JustHost page. No website to see. What am I doing wrong, and what can I do to fix it, bearing in mind I’m useless when it comes to technical matters?

    Kind regards
    Jamie

    Hello Jamie,
First understand that there are thousands of people commenting on different sites that you can find on most pages of the Google search (when you type “justhost review or reviews”) that they are unreliable…… They also said that don’t rely on their high amount of bandwidth and space as their server is really slow.

Find more on each pages of Google Search.

Why don’t you try finding better hosting provider?

@shekhar , That isn’t really an answer to the solution. Hosting services are hosting services. Yes, some are better than others but that doesn’t mean they don’t work.

My guess is that there’s a default index file in your files somewhere. I’m not sure how you edited the pages because when I go to http://www.jamieandrew-withhands.com/wp-admin it brings up a 404.
