You’ll have to provide a bit more details in order for us to help, starting with the site URL and a detailed description of how you tried to add the sidebar.

I’m using theme Electro with woocommerce simple auctions.
I have tried these ways to add the sidebar(widget)
    1. https://kinsta.com/blog/wordpress-register-sidebar/
    2. https://neliosoftware.com/blog/how-to-add-a-new-sidebar-in-wordpress/
    3. https://www.dummies.com/web-design-development/wordpress/templates-themes-plugins/how-to-register-new-widget-areas-to-your-wordpress-theme/
    4. I also use widget logic that I needed to add this !ispage(”); , also didn’t work.

I alsode made new page template for the widgets, but It didn’t work.

Electro is a commercial theme so we can’t test it. Contacting them would be the faster way to resolve this.

Did you try enabling a custom sidebar for all post types and putting it in the footer?

Yes I contact with them but they told me I can add sidebar(wideget) via plugins so… here we go from the 0… 😀
About the custom sidebar in the footer it won’t work for me. I need it as a left sidebar because there will be the search for the auctions with other few things like recent viewed and etc.

Unfortunately, since this is a commercial theme we can’t know why it’s not working with our plugin. Also, even without testing the theme, I’d say 95% that it has at least a few built-in sidebars where you can immediately drop widgets in. Without messing with anything.

Yes, it have built-in sidebars but I see only Shop sidebar and footer sidebar. If I use the shop sidebar it will affect the shop page sidebar. Anyway, thank you for your time. I will try to find other solution!

Hi, I read the above discussion about the customer sidebar for a specific page. But I didn’t find my solution. That’s why I am messaging here. I want to put a custom sidebar on one of my website pages (like the Rangefinders page). Can you check it and guide me that how I will put a custom sidebar that will contain the related post to this category.
