I read that another user was having a similar issue with their comments and when they disabled and re-enabled Akismet, that seemed to resolve the issue.

Thanks for the hint. Unfortunately it didn’t help. Actually the comments subpanel never works, even with no plugins activated. In addition, I am not able to add links to the blogroll via the links subpanel and the media manager also does not work – it shows a blank page. The rest works fine.

I can’t view the comments subpanel in the backend and hence I am not able to manage comments (when I click on comments in the menu on the left, the right page stays blank). However, if I want to edit a single comment which is shown on the welcome page of the backend, it works. I am using wordpress 3.0.1 but it also did not work with 3.0. Do you have any suggestions?
