  • Hey,
I’ve just started using WP, and I have gotten this problem. I cannot use the letters æ ø and Ã¥ (danish). Well, it works in the main blog, but not in the comments field?
I cannot seam to locate the error in the code.

  • You’ve got content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" in your comment page header. It should be utf-8 for maximum compatibility. See this comment page of mine.

I have tried to switch between iso-8859-1 (my regular choice) and utf-8.
If I chooce utf-8, the comments wont work, but the blog does. And vice versa?

I’ve got the same problem (I’m Danish too), not in my blog as such, but in the dates and names of lists and so on. What should I do to control what kind of letters are used here?
BTW: Is there an easy way to change all the list names and standard replies (‘post your comments here’) that WP produces to something else (in Danish) easily? I’ve found some of the phrases in different php-files and changed them there, but it’s difficult to find them all…
