  • I recently created a blog on my website. I was previously with .com and found out my webhost offered .org so I switched over.
I can log in to my blog and get to my dashboard but whenever I try to upload the 2.8.5 upgrade, or themes, or plug ins and it asked for my user/name PW again I get error messages. I even went to the link to get a new pw, logged onto my blog dashboard and tried these but got the same message. I also get a message that there was a problem connecting to the server. This seems to be when I have the user name and pw correct?? I am so confused and have gone round and round on this and need help please. My resourse advisor says that I have the right info for the host so I don’t know what the problem is.
    Thank you

  • Sounds like you changed the URL….easiest way would be to have the old .com site “parked” on your server. That way all your links are still going to work.
