Even though your other site allows uploads while using your custom child theme, just to eliminate any kind of non-WP integration issue, I would switch back to the default WP theme, with ALL plugins deactivated, and try uploading again. Moreover, what kinds of files have you tried to upload (e.g., GIF, JPG, PNG, etc.)? And who is your host? The latter question hinges on maybe there’s some kind of permissions issue going on. Oh, and what size files have you tried uploading (i.e., 1.2KB, 3MB, etc.)?

    Thanks for your reply.
I’m uploading different file types. I’ll tried .JPG and .PNG, I did also tried different file sizes from 16kb to 1056kb. None of them did work.

I reinstalled WordPress and changed permissions on files and folders in wp-content to 777 to try again, but that wasn’t a solution either.

I will contact my hosting tomorrow, see if that works out.

You’re welcome ronnyrook. And, WOW, it sounds like you’ve done all the testing you can do for now. So, calling your host is most likely the next best step.

Oh, on your current computer, you did try different browsers, right? And, testing was done with a box stock WordPress theme and no activated plugins, right? One more thing, did you try uploading an image on a different computer? Or possibly even a different network?

Well thanks for your reply’s. I’ve contacted my hosting today and they said it was something with an tmp map which didn’t exists. They created it for me what fixed the problem.

You’re more than welcome ronnyrook. I’m just glad to hear you’re up and uploading again. 🙂
