Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
I’m still pretty new to this so please bear with me.
As far as I can see, I do have a few plug-ins installed but not activated.
Tried using the original plain wordpress 2012 themes, no change. Still doesn’t work.
I’m not sure how to go about doing that…
I don’t know how to do that either haha but I did try re-downloading a fresh copy of wordpress an there was no change.
Update: I reset the plugins folder through FTP and…no progress.
