can't update wordpress

    i use wordpress 3.6. the dashboard says ‘WordPress 3.6.1 is available! Please update now.’ but when i click on ‘please update now’ i get this error: “Warning: copy(/homepages/39/d478358613/htdocs/app478358607/wp-admin/includes/update-core.php) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /homepages/39/d478358613/htdocs/app478358607/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 200
    Could not copy files.

    Sounds like a permission issue. Have you contacted your webhosting?

    permission issue? but i can enter in the dashboard like usual and do everything i want. except update :/

    Server permissions have nothing to do with your WordPress login status or role. Contact your hosts about this.
