• Anyone have any ideas? Just when I was about to start editing and working on my own nice theme, I get this message:

Warning: fopen(E:\inetpub\vhosts\cool-breeze.net\httpdocs/wp-content/themes/classic/comments-popup.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in E:\inetpub\vhosts\cool-breeze.net\httpdocs\wp-admin\theme-editor.php on line 56

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in E:\inetpub\vhosts\cool-breeze.net\httpdocs\wp-admin\theme-editor.php on line 57

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in E:\inetpub\vhosts\cool-breeze.net\httpdocs\wp-admin\theme-editor.php on line 58

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at E:\inetpub\vhosts\cool-breeze.net\httpdocs\wp-admin\theme-editor.php:56) in E:\inetpub\vhosts\cool-breeze.net\httpdocs\wp-admin\theme-editor.php on line 59

After hitting ‘update file’. I replaced the ‘theme-editor’ file in my mess of files with a fresh one, but it didn’t change any line of code anyway.

Where do I need to go, what do I need to fix, who do I need to call?

    The Ghostbusters are on vacation.

    Thanks!

  • Your own nice theme should be edited, coded NOT online. Nobody makes a theme by online editing.
We all design our themes on our own computer (most us testing it on a local install) and only after that uploading to the host server.

Ahhh, that clears it up a bunch…thanks!

Just figured out how to make a theme folder with MY theme name on it, and stick in the style.css and index files. It’s a start! 🙂
